Environment

Oxidative destruction of waste materials, stains and other complex organic impurities can be dramatically improved through the use of RahuCat catalysts.

Designed originally to destroy persistent polyphenolic stains, i.e. tea, coffee and red wine, or long chain aliphatic stains such as pasta sauce, our catalysts improve the efficiency of removal of colour, odour and toxic components in waste water systems and other effluent streams.

Cost and operating benefits created by using RahuCat products include;

  • COD reduction
  • Lower operating temperatures
  • Shorter residence times or faster cycle times
  • Reduced chemical consumption
  • Increased operating flexibility

Existing work has confirmed the value of our catalysts in the fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals
and other activated oxidation processes (AOPs)
